There are a couple of principles in the Buchinger fast that are important to know:
- Obviously, there will be no food: just liquids (herbal tea, vegetable juice and vegetable broth)
- Let go of things that are not essential (We let go of food for a while for our body, we can let go of perhaps social media to give our mind a rest as well etc..)
- Promote elimination (cleanse your kidneys by drinking enough water, do breathing work, brush massage..)
- Detach from your everyday life (spend time away from work and family, from telephone and email,…)
- Be in harmony with yourself and nature (Listen to your body!)
